Children of Bodom - Swallow The Sun - Wolfheart - Summoner’s Circle - The Masquerade, Atlanta, GA - 4/11/2019

With a new album to promote, the legendary Children of Bodom embark on another North American tour with great expectation. Packaged together with fellow Finn’s Swallow the Sun and Wolfheart, this concert line-up has a bit for everybody. Being huge bands from all the three main bands, we were quite psyched to see this unique package make their way to Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade.

Hypocrisy - Fleshgod Apocalypse - Aenimus - Atlanta, GA - 3/27/2019

Shows on a Wednesday night are usually a tricky proposition, being hump day many people tend to skip them. In Atlanta however, all metal-heads usually always turn up for killer line-up regardless of the day of the week. With the 'geezers' turning up for Hypocrisy and the younger crowd for Fleshgod Apocalypse and Aenimus, this was set to be a killer show.

Zeal & Ardor - Baroness - Deafheaven - White Oak Music Hall - Houston, TX - 3/8/2019

The moment this tour was announced we were completely blown away by the prospects of watching Zeal & Ardor and Deafheaven on the same tour in North America. We have seen Deafheaven like 20 times before when we lived in the Bay Area, but they never fail to deliver an amazing show. Zeal & Ardor has been slowly creeping into our general musical rotation with their unique blend of Blues and Black Metal, as well as very interesting lyrical concept.

Ensiferum - Septicflesh - Arsis - 1/28/2019 - The Masquerade - Atlanta - GA

Monday night concerts are usually an odd affair in Atlanta with only a handful of people showing up as they turn into ‘open’ rehearsals. However, with Ensiferum, Septicflesh and Arsis on the bill, The Masquerade - Hell was as packed as on a Friday night. With such an impressive line-up we were excited to see their performances.

On the heels of the release of their latest opus “I Loved you at Your Darkest”, Behemoth has embarked on a crushing North American tour with legends At the Gates and the Cascadian Black Metal masters: Wolves in the Throne Room. With such a killer package, this tour is set to draw massive crowds and produce some intense songs.

The Forest Seasons Tour: Wintersun - Ne Obliviscaris - Sarah Longfield - 9/17/2018 - The Loft - Atlanta, GA

As one of the most interesting touring packages this fall, today we made our way to The Loft for a killer show with Wintersun and Ne Obliviscaris with opener Sarah Longfield. With the summer not relenting in Atlanta, it was very welcomed that the venue, The Loft, has some nice ice-cold AC too keep all metalheads frosty while waiting for the guitar virtuosity of Sarah Longfield to kick off the night.

Unleashing some very crafty and engaging compositions, her set was quite engaging and kept most of the attendees quite excited from start to end.

Kamelot – Delain – Battle Beast – 5/11/2018 – Center Stage, Atlanta, GA

As one of the most expected tours in the area this spring, Kamelot finally made their way through the USA to visit their fans in the South. With very special guests Delain and Battle Beast, this tour managed to attract fans of Progressive/Power Metal and Symphonic Metal together. Center Stage is definitely one of the best venues in Atlanta as it perfectly accommodates a great deal of music lovers, and having great sound does not hurt either.

Brujeria + Powerflo + Piñata Protest - 11/23/2016 - Slim’s - San Francisco, CA

Touring on support of their 2016’s release “Pocho Aztlan”, Brujeria finally made it to San Francisco with the company of Powerflo and Piñata Protest. On a Monday night, usually shows are not very full, but this one was the exception as a fully packed Slim’s was bracing to receive the unparalleled energy that Brujeria brings to the table.

Orphaned Land + Pain + Voodoo KungFu - 9/20/2017 - Oakland Metro, Oakland, CA

As most tours hitting either San Francisco or Oakland, we were quite excited when we saw that Orphaned Land was coming through town as part of their short tour after their ProgPower USA appearance. The tour package was rounded up by Sweden’s Pain and their excellent Industrial/Electronic Metal/Rock music, and the mysterious Voodoo KungFu with their very unique and rare sound. After braving the craptastic Bay Area traffic, we managed to make it to the venue in less than an hour and just in time for Voodoo KungFu to take the stage.
