OMNIUM GATHERUM sign to Lifeforce Records
Since we had to sail all the way back to Finland, we took the opportunity to take another Finnish band on board. Please welcome ENSIFERUM to the line up of 70000TONS OF METAL, The World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival.
The confirmed 21 out of 40 bands are:
New York based extreme metal legends SUFFOCATION will tour North America this Fall with prog-deathster THE FACELESS, deathcore merchants THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, tech-death meisters DECREPIT BIRTH, and Italy’s brutal/symphonic/avante garde horde FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE. The tour is being called the “The Decibel Defiance Tour 2010” and is being sponsored by Decibel Magazine and the Extreme Management Group. Tour dates to be announced shortly!
Partnering up with the Warsaw Rising Museum, the “Radoslaw” Reenactment Group, the Wizna 1939 Association and Polish fans, the “Uprising” video from Sweden’s SABATON, "a powerful and emotional tribute to those who lost their lives in the Warsaw uprising in 1944," is now online at this location.
UNSUN, band led by ex-Vader guitar player will release its second album “Clinic For Dolls” via Avalon/Marquee in Japan on September 20th. Japanese edition will include one bonus track. European version will be available since October 11th via Mystic Production.

We have received very solid releases from Mystic Productions from Poland until now, Mouga’s attempt at mixing Emo with Nu-Metal and some Metalcore elements fails terribly and the band just comes up with a garbled release that will make you want you puncture your ear-drums after listening to it for more than 10 minutes. Imagine we listened to it for at least 3 full spins before going on to write this review. We usually don’t like to put bands down unless they really deserve it, and for Mouga we feel that is our obligation to warn you about this steaming pile of shit of an album. The band’s attempt at mixing ‘commercially’ safe genres might be justified, but when there is no substance, and more importantly no music behind such an attempt, it just makes it crash and burn miserably. | ||
