Raganrok 2019 Preview

Having attended as regular guests a few years ago to witness the last ever show of Todtgelichter, we are making our way back to Stadthalle Lichtenfels. This small but quite well organized festival was a dream to attend. With plenty of seating space, two side-by-side stages for non-stop Metal action, it is one of the best smaller festivals we have attended. With an already impressive line-up featuring the likes of Borknagar, Ensiferum, Arkona and Tyr among many others, we are psyched to be back.

Right-wing extremism

Ragnarök Festival itself is a political, ideological and religious extreme of all kinds, especially right-wing extremism and neo-Nazism. Executing gestures and wearing symbols which violates Germany's constitution will be punished without warning and will result in a ban and the parking / camping area.

Furthermore, the security guards have been ordered to refuse entry to anyone's shirts of NSBM and / or RAC bands. The guards want to receive a special instruction. Still it is possible that some issues might go unnoticed. In these cases, we look at the question of how to bring the wrongdoings of others to the security guards' attention.
