Demonical - Välkommen undergång (2025)

Death Metal royalty Demonical are back with a 2-track single release with a couple of live songs from their Latin American tour of 2023. Full of their signature crushing music, these two tracks showcase the band’s raw power in the live setting, which was perfectly captured in their 2024 ”Victorious Death - Live in Latin America” release. However, in this single you will be able to get a special track that fans of the genre will love.

Opening with “Välkommen undergång” from their 2018 release, “Chaos Manifesto”, the band showcases a very clear and crisp live sound with their typical crafty guitar work and the firm vocals of Charlie Fryksell. The second track is a pretty special cover of “Wolverine Blues”, with the band putting their own touch on this anthem, originally by Entombed. If you like that song, this version sounds a bit more crisp than the original, making it a great addition to this single.

We believe that Demonical needs no introduction, but for the uninitiated, this is a nice small taste of the band’s Death Metal chops, so do not sleep on it. We rarely review singles, but after headbanging to this one non-stop, we had to spread the word. Rest assured you will get a good neck exercise from listening to this one.
