Midnight - Satanic Attack Live! (2026)

Only a handful of bands deliver as energetic shows as Athenar and Midnight do. Luckily for the uninitiated, “Satanic Attack Live!” masterfully captures that raw powerful energy that the band displays on a stage. While their album music is pummeling on its own, there is just something extra decadent of seeing and hearing it played live. Unleashing fifteen tracks and nearly one hour of music, any fan of the band is in for a treat.

Blasting away with “Unholy and Rotten” and the extreme catchiness of “Evil Like a Knife”, the band unleashes all hell immediately. The raw buzzsaw guitars the band unleashes are crushingly powerful, creating plenty of memorable moments like on “Rip This Hell”, “Necromania” and “Holocaustic Deafening”. While some more ‘sensible’ songs like “Black Dimension” keep things sleazy and depraved. With Iron Possessor on drums and DK Vagslay on guitars, Athenar perfectly captures the band’s visceral sound in this live recording.

Midnight is one of the most uncompromising bands on the scene and while their studio albums are fierce and brutal, their live component is a whole other beast. Selecting a decent repertoire of the band’s sleazy hits, this live album has a killer flow, leaving the listener fully engaged and ready for more violent riffs. If you always wondered what the band sounds like live, but have been afraid to join the violators on a live show, this should give you the motivation to not miss the next one.
