In order to keep the momentum going after the crushing release of their 2025 opus “Signum”, Hammerfilosofi returns with a two track EP that features ‘reforged’ versions of two of the most intense tracks of said release. Not your average remaster or re-interpretation, these tracks underwent a brand new mix and master, alongside a re-recording of the drums by Dystopian. Opening with the pummeling drumming of “My Blood Is My Voice”, the band unleashes all hell and delivers that Marduk-esque intensity that distinguished them from the heaps of Black Metal releases in 2025. The new mix allows all elements to perfectly blend and deliver a swift punch to the face, as “A Dance Above the Abyss” blasts away. The band’s incisive sound and brutal approach to the genre feels more polished this time around, while still unraveling waves of crushing riffs and hellish vocals.

In the short but sweet category, “Secundus Adventus” will keep Hammerfilosofi fresh in people’s minds in an ever revolving scene full of new releases each week.
