new MORIBUND release dates: GODLESS RISING, I SHALT BECOME, and HACAVITZ

Today, MORIBUND RECORDS confirms the following release dates:

GODLESS RISING - "TRUMPET OF TRIUMPH," to be released May 25th

Denying the holy trinity once again, GODLESS RISING herald the apocalypse with their third album, Trumpet of Triumph. A timeless synthesis of warring death metal, nuclear black metal, and simply EVIL speed metal, Trumpet of Triumph is the first GODLESS RISING album to feature Onward six-string sorcerer Toby Knapp, with ex-Vital Remains vocalist Jeff Gruslin continuing to exhort the hordes with his hellish throat. Grab hold and blow the Trumpet of Triumph!

I SHALT BECOME - "POISON," to be released June 22nd

One of the original founders of the USBM sound, I SHALT BECOME’s Wanderings debut is considered a black metal classic. Second and third masterpieces Requiem and The Pendle Witch Trials transcended even that in their haunting, ghostly glory and mind-warping majesty. Now I SHALT BECOME return with their most adventurous work to date, consisting of one 55-minute concerto divided into 10 movements. Uniting an original orchestrated classical composition with eerie depressive black metal, I SHALT BECOME venture into new and uncharted territory for themselves and the black metal scene as a whole. An epic exploration coalescing symphonic suicide and twisted orchestral black psychedelia, crafting one of the most unique (black) metal albums to ever emerge - it’s time to take your Poison!

HACAVITZ - "METZLI OBSCURA," to be released June 22nd

Summoning shadowy denizens of their native Aztec lands, Mexico’s HACAVITZ conjure Metztli Obscura from the ancient mist. Their third sacrifice to the primeval gods offers angular death metal riffing with dissonant black metal constructions upon the pyramids under dim moonlight. Eclipsed with rage-and-recoil battery, hellfire leads and forked-tongue vocals, the ancestral Aztecan spirits reveal the apocalyptic realm! HACAVITZ reap a multi-lingual whirlwind of serpentine blackened death metal atmosphere that spells the end in any language.
