The Godfathers of Swedish modern metal, SOILWORK, have unveiled the artwork for their upcoming album The Panic Broadcast, which has already been classified as their “most heavy & brutal” as well as their “most melodic” effort by various members of the European media! Vocalist Björn “Speed” Strid commented on the artwork:
“With the artwork for this album we wanted to capture the illusion of the mind, misconceptions and the state of panic. Bartosz Nalezinski has done a perfect job realizing this idea. The cover symbolizes the emperor of the illusion with two servants to assist the misconception. The background illustrates the abstract chaos that slowly takes over. The Panic Broadcast is the first album to feature original guitarist, songwriter & producer Peter Wichers since his return to the band in 2008! Produced by Wichers and mixed by Jen Bogren (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA, SYMPHONY X), this is the record long time SOILWORK fans have been waiting for!
The Panic Broadcast is set to be released on July 2 (EUROPE) and July 13 (N. America) via Nuclear Blast!
