Santa Cruz CA’s tech-death masters, DECREPIT BIRTH, sold around 1,300 copies in the United States of their new album Polarity in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 18 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, making it the bands highest first week sales yet. Polarity was released on July 27 via Nuclear Blast Records.
