After the bonus programme in the new CAMPSITE CIRCUS tent was met with much enthusiasm last year, we decided to elaborate a bonus programme for our anniversary as well. From Tuesday til Saturday evening there is going to be plenty of entertainment in the tent, which has also been enlarged as compared to 2016. The – much varied – programme is as follows:
Tuesday, 15 August 2017:
After the open air screening of the fil ‘Imaginaerum by Nightwish’ we get busy right away with the legendary ROCK’N’ROLL WRESTLING BASH! This symbiosis of trashy musical, Mexican wrestling and a loud and proper dose of rock’n’roll will follow a storyline which mastermind Carlos Martinez wrote specifically for SUMMER BREEZE. Don’t miss this crazy event!
Later in the evening the party will continue with the first of five shows by New York’s disco metal band TRAGEDY. The East Coast natives have promised a true disco inferno, which will end in the nightly Metal Karaoke Party, where you can give it your best shot. Unlike last year, the TRAGEDY boys will be accompanying you live until the end of the party as well!
After this sensational evening programme you will all be able to headbang and dance in the Metal.de’s Metal Disco and party together. And who knows, maybe a few musicians playing the festival will already be there to party…
Wednesday, 16 August 2017:
The second ROCK’N’ROLL WRESTLING BASH show will be the start of the Wednesday programme in the CAMPSITE CIRCUS tent, before another TRAGEDY DISCO INFERNO craze follows into the night. As every day this year, first it’s going to be the band on its own, and later together with you during the daily karaoke session!
Thursday, 17 August 2017:
In the evening, MOONSPELL and FIDDLER’S GREEN invite you to their exclusive acoustic performances. The tickets for these acoustic shows were raffled in advance, but come by and have a look, maybe a few people opt out and give away their tickets. The evening will be closed by the usual TRAGEDY DISCO INFERNO doube whammy of normal show / karaoke madness.
Friday, 18 August 2017:
Neben der exklusiven ELUVEITIE-Akustik-Show, für die ebenfalls im Vorfeld Tickets verlost wurden, werden die Mittelalter-Metaller von NACHTGESCHREI eine ihrer wenigen Abschiedsshows spielen. Dann steht an diesem Tag der erste offizielle Auftritt von DARKNESS, BLACKSMITH & KERKER an, die sich mit ihrem Akustikprogramm allen Interessierten empfehlen möchten und werden. Nicht verpassen! In addition to an exclusive ELUVEITIE acoustic show, for which tickets were also raffled in advance, the medieval metal band NACHTGESCHREI will play one of very few farewell shows. Afterwards, DARKNESS, BLACKSMITH & KERKER will play their first official show with an acoustic repertoire for all interested parties. Don’t miss out!
For in between the music performances we have organised a Tattoo Contest for all attnedants with Germany’s biggest skin art magazine, Tätowier Magazine. A specialist jusy will coose the best metal tattoos among SUMMER BREEZE patrons.
Spätabends wird dann erneut das TRAGEDY DISCO INFERNO gezündet.
Saturday, 19 August 2017:
On Saturday, birthday kids THE NEW BLACK will repeat the success of the acoustic show they played at their anniversary club show in the CAMPSITE CIRCUS tent. Afterwards, at 16.00, we will look after the younger generations with a little early rock education in the form of Germay’s leading rock band for children, RANDALE. What’s so special about it is that all parents with their kids of up to 12 years of age will have free access to the campsite tent. Holding a SUMMER BREEZE ticket is not necessary in this case, since the circus tent is located on the campsite, not the infield.
Right after, exclusive unplugged show by CORVUS CORAX and KNORKATOR will follow. Tickets were raffled in advance for these shows,
The gloryful finale of the circus tent’s second year will be marked once more by TRAGEDY with their charming Disco Inferno, where you can burn your last energy reserves, first as members of the audience and later participating in the karaoke segment.
