10. Silent Fall – Otherwise (2010)

Similar to French heroes Adagio, but with their own melodic edge to them

9. Winters Verge – Tales Of Tragedy (2010)

Solid Power Metal from Cyprus!, better keep an eye for these guys in the future

8. Triosphere – The Road Less Traveled (2010)

Female-fronted Power Metal with a slight Progressive edge

7. Magica – Dark Diary (2010)

Ever morphing Romanian band Magica infuses some Gothic Metal elements to their already solid Power Metal foundations

6. Sabaton – Coat of Arms (2010)

Martial and very traditional release from these Swedish war inspired Power Metalheads

5. Blind Guardian – At the Edge of Time (2010)

Symphonic and Progressive elements allow Blind Guardian to keep things fresh and interesting after so many years

4. Masterplan – Time To Be King (2010)

Jørn Lande and his company of musical heroes are back with one of their best releases so far

3. Kamelot – Poetry for the Poisoned (2010)

Different and refreshing release featuring the traditional Kamelot sound with some darker elements mixed in-between

2. Wuthering Heights – Salt (2010)

Very loved and very hated Wuthering Heights almost takes the top honors of 2010, we don’t care what other critics think since we love this band and their album was almost as good as it gets for 2010

1. Revolution Renaissance – Trinity (2010)

Brilliant swan-song release from Timo Tolkki's latest band. Very reminiscent of older Stratovarius releases
